Debby's interest in real estate began at the early age of 19. She took real estate classes in California, but moved back to Arizona before she was able to take her state licensing exam. Life took her in another direction upon her return to Arizona and she found herself managing a local produce market. Later, she and her husband, Jerry, started a sign and banner business which she still plays an important role in running. Debby's primary focus, however, is real estate, where she enjoys passionately fighting for her clients' rights and entitlements. Debby spends her free time involved in local church activities, reading, and engaging in lighthearted banter with family and friends. Debby is the mother of four and grandmother (but call her Nana, please!) of four, also. Debby moved from Rhode Island to Arizona at the tender age of nine weeks. Professionally, Debby prides herself on providing the same level of customer service to her clients that she would hope to receive herself and takes every transaction as personally as she would take her own.

As the newest member of The Porter Team, Jerry brings the most sales experience and of course his great personality. Anyone who knows Jerry knows that he could sell ice to an Eskimo, but instead he'll be working hard to get our listings sold! Jerry's professional accomplishments include 12 prosperous years spent as an equipment salesman in the sign and banner business. In 1988 Debby and Jerry made the daring decision to open their own business and so Valley Banner Inc., purveyors of fine sign products, was born. With the help of his son, CJ, Jerry's involvement in the hard work of the sign making business has been reduced allowing time to commit to his dream of one day being a real estate mogul. Originally a country bumpkin from Wyoming, Jerry moved out to Arizona during high school and has since been thoroughly enjoying the good weather, sunshine, and all of the wonderful outdoor recreational activities that our lovely state offers. Jerry earned his professional license in 2008 and upon joining The Porter Team has been amended into Porter-Porter, PLLC. Jerry earned his bachelor's of science from ASU way back before the time of new fangled things like CD's and DVD's and has since spent much of his time using big words like purveyor to put his education to good use. We are sure that Jerry's lexicon will come in handy during the negotiation process!

Alison has been licensed since 2005 when she and Debby joined forces to create The Porter Team. Alison comes back to the team after training in Loss Mitigation practices at a top ranked national bank. She hopes to apply this knowledge to help clients face the current real estate market as educated consumers who are aware of available options, benefits, and consequences.
